Description Oil is in the blood at Anglo-Eastern Plantations (AEP). The developer owns and operates some 133,000 hectares in Indonesia and Malaysia and plants about 10,000 hectares of land there each year. Of that, some 52,000 hectares are under cultivation, growing mostly oil palm trees. The company continues to expand as it buys up surrounding plantations, constructs new palm oil mills, and expands its existing mills. As demand for palm oil increases, AEP plants more oil palms. Crude palm oil accounts for most of the company's sales, although it also has some revenue from raw rubber and fresh fruit production. Chairman S.K. Lim owns a controlling interest in AEP.
