Since 1888, Wheelock College has been a strong and vibrant college committed to our unique mission of improving the lives of children and families. Wheelock is guided by this mission, which reflects our core academic strengths, to be responsive to critical societal needs in Greater Boston and around the world. Since its founding, Wheelock has leveraged its remarkable faculty to develop academic programs that help students become social sector leaders. We offer an array of undergraduate arts and sciences degree programs, in addition to our professional programs in education, social work, child life, and juvenile justice & youth advocacy. Wheelock also offers a growing number of targeted graduate certificates to complement our acclaimed master's programs in education, child life, social work, and nonprofit leadership. Wheelock students live our mission, providing an estimated 222,000 hours of community service annually to the global community.
