Description Founded in 2009, KIPP St. Louis is a growing network of free, open-enrollment, public charter schools offering a choice to families and a college-preparatory education to children in St. Louis city. Our results speak for themselves.
In August 2009, KIPP St. Louis opened its first school, KIPP Inspire Academy, serving 80 students in fifth grade. KIPP Inspire’s founding class out-performed the state average for all subjects by 8th grade, and our students are at the region’s top high schools on their mountain climb to and through college.
We are now serving nearly 1,300 students from every zip code in the city in our four schools The KIPP story in St. Louis is just beginning. We created six schools in St. Louis, serving 2,600 students from kindergarten through twelfth grade. We invite you to join us in changing the landscape of quality education in St. Louis.
