Description There's no hitch in Hitchiner Manufacturing's business plan. The family-owned supplier of thin-wall investment castings, and subassemblies and components operates via four facilities: Ferrous-USA produces countergravity castings for the auto, defense, and pump and valve industries; Gas Turbine specializes in hot-section parts utilizing vacuum-melted alloys for the jet engine component market; Hitchiner Manufacturing Company de Mexico makes rocker arms for auto OEMs; and Ferrous Mexico, auto rocker arm assemblies. Hitchiner is primarily a tier-two supplier (its parts go to another company that contracts directly with the OEM) for majors BorgWarner, Goodrich, General Motors, Lockheed Martin, and General Electric.
