Not enough data to show CEO approval

Description Renovis hopes to find pain relief in small packages -- small molecules to be exact. The biotech firm is working with Pfizer to develop drugs to inhibit the vanilloid receptor (VR1), thought to mediate pain signaling in nerve cells. Such drugs would be used to treat inflammatory and nerve pain, as well as urinary incontinence. In a collaboration with Genentech, the company is developing a product to stimulate new nerve and blood vessel growth following neural trauma. Renovis is also developing other drug candidates to control chronic pain. Since none of its products has completed development or received regulatory approval, Renovis doesn't expect to generate revenue from product sales for at least a few years.
