C'est bon! Bontex makes coated and uncoated fiberboard products for a myriad of applications, including footwear, headwear, luggage, and, even automotive panels. In addition to a variety of cushion insoles for footwear, Bontex supplies a polyurethane material with moisture wicking ability for sock linings and insoles. Its fiberboard products, sold under various brands (such as BONTEX), are made from recycled and primary cellulose fibers and touted as environmentally friendly. Through its subsidiaries, Bontex sells most of its lineup directly to customers worldwide. It is family owned, held largely by the Kostelnis and former director Patricia Surmonte Tischio, daughter of the company's founder, Hugo Surmonte.
