Its glass fiber-based, sound-absorbing blend for automotive under-hood and exterior use is sold under the QuietBlend brand. Made from textile fiberglass and anti-flame fibers, CTA's ThermaBlend line offers an insulating blanket for an array of building products. CTA's customers include carmakers Ford, GM, and Nissan, and material makers John Manville and Owens Corning. Started in 1971, CTA is an affiliated company of Cerberus Capital.
