Foundation News! 💗 In May we held our latest company-wide Foundation Day! Rocksteady staff teamed up with charities and organisations across the country to run free, fun-filled music workshops for children and young people who may otherwise miss out on music lessons. The events took place in children’s hospitals, hospices, young carers groups, and SEN schools. Altogether, more than 80 children joined in, and it was a chance for them to relax, have some fun, and enjoy the amazing benefits of music! There were so many memorable moments across the day. One parent told us how excited her child had been pre-surgery to be taking part in the workshop later that day. As soon as she was allowed, she picked up the drumsticks and joined in! Mental Health Awareness Week! ❤️ At Rocksteady, we understand the importance of staff wellbeing and this includes providing a supportive, friendly environment aswell as a supportive team that promotes positive mental health. All staff have access to a 24/7 employee assistance programme, a wellbeing hub with lots of free resources and a 24/7 GP service, to help them feel supported both inside and outside of work....Show more

Foundation News! The Rocksteady team have been volunteering at over 36 foundation events in SEN schools, children’s hospitals and charities across the country. Hundreds of staff donated their time to give children a musical experience they will remember for a very long time. Many of the children came in slightly nervous about what to expect, but by the end of the session they had the biggest smiles on their faces. There were so many special moments, from the children who wrote their own song called ‘I love Mayonnaise’, to the awesome band of deaf children who performed like the absolute rock legends they are! We want to say the biggest thank you to all the staff in these incredible organisations who support children every day!...Show more
