Benefix began with the drive to solve a common problem - and one that Matt Ranauro experienced first hand. When moving his small business from CO to PA, Matt and his employees nearly lost their healthcare coverage. He waited weeks to see a few plan options, received no advice during the selection process from the insurance company or the broker, and was then handed a stack of forms with no practical way to understand what options were best for his employees. And to make matters worse, there was no simple, digital, way to enroll or access healthcare. It was clear the current system was broken.
Cue: the birth of Benefix. Matt, along with Benefix co-founder Lee Shand Snyder, now have a team of 25 rockstar employees working to elevate the insurance selection process for the little guy - small businesses and their employees. Guided by innovation, rebellion, and the desire to make the world a better place, Benefix runs with one goal in mind - give the world peace of mind.
