Mission At Krystal, we balance profit with purpose.
The money we make goes directly into two things: providing the best possible service and helping to make the world a better place for future generations.
So far we’ve pledged to plant and protect 1 billion trees by 2030 and offset the entire lifetime carbon footprint of our 60-strong workforce. As a regenerative business, we run on 100% renewable energy and we give back more to society and the planet than we take from it.
We’re currently B Corp pending and will soon achieve our B Corp certification. To achieve this we are making fundamental changes to our corporate structure with a legal commitment to use our business as a force for good.
This includes:
Creating a material positive impact on society and the environment through our business and operations. Considering ‘stakeholder interests’ – including our shareholders, employees, suppliers, society and the environment.
For us, it’s about more than creating an ethical brand. It’s our reason for being.
And we’ve only just begun.
Description Krystal was created in 2002 to be an “honest, reliable and personal” alternative to large, faceless web hosting corporations. We also exist as a vehicle for positive, lasting change.
20 years on, and our approach is the same. We’re now the UK’s largest (fiercely) independent web hosting company, 52 people strong and growing fast. We’re working towards our B Corp certification and funding climate-saving projects around the world.
We offer thousands of ambitious, discerning businesses master-crafted technology and intelligent support, backed by an ethical approach to business.
As we’ve grown in size we’ve expanded our suite of world-class solutions to include:
Katapult - Our ultra-fast NVMe-powered cloud platform. Onyx - Blazingly fast managed WordPress hosting. Sirportly - Powerful help desk software for remarkable support teams. DeployHQ - Deploy from your repositories to your SFTP to FTP servers. Dial 9 - Award-winning VoIP solutions for businesses of all sizes.
