SRT Communications provides local-exchange access and long-distance telephone service to residents of north central North Dakota and Montana. The cooperative serves about 48,000 access lines and operates 25 telephone exchanges, including those in the towns of Minot, Burlington, and Surrey, as well as the Minot Air Force Base. In addition to voice service, the company sells Internet services (including broadband access and Web hosting), as well as PCS wireless service. SRT Communications also distributes business phone systems made by Avaya, Mitel, and 3Com and offers cable television to subscribers in nearly 20 cities and towns.
