Polychem makes and sells plastic package strapping, as well as power tools, bundling equipment, and other strapping-related gear. The company produces three kinds of strapping: polypropylene (economical strapping), polyester (superior strength and tension retention), and woven and bonded cord (flat rope). Polychem also makes and sells strapping machines and related supplies. Subsidiaries include Evergreen Plastics, OMS America, and Sterling Packaging Systems.
