The company was started in 1974 by Sofio Urata and his sons, Charles and Frank, who began by paving residential patios and driveways. Charles Urata retired in 2022 and the company transitioned to its current ownership team consisting of David Acrell - President, Rick Rice - Vice President, Christina Phillippe - CFO, and Brian Brandt, Sr. Estimator.
