In 1979, Collins Engineers, Inc. opened its doors in Chicago, providing engineering services in structural and transportation analysis and design, and underwater engineering. It was in the field of underwater engineering that Collins pioneered the use of professional engineers as diving inspectors in the evaluation of underwater structures.
Collins maintains a small, family culture while continuing to rank as an ENR Top 500 Design Firm that provides diverse civil and structural engineering services—including design, inspection, and asset management—to public and private sector clients worldwide.

For 40 years we have continued to grow and develop high caliber engineers.
