Regional general contractor Kokosing Construction is one of the largest nonresidential builders in Ohio. The company operates through three divisions: its highway and heavy industrial divisions in Ohio and its Durocher Marine division (piers, docks, and breakwaters and environmental remediation) in Michigan. The company's projects include commercial and institutional buildings, heavy industrial process plants, waste and water-treatment plants, underground sewer and utility lines, heavy/highway construction, and sports facilities. It also provides renovation work. The company, which was founded in 1951 by Bill Burgett and Les Rinehart, is owned and run by the Burgett family.
