The company's wireless location products and services, which include a handset called Wherifone, combine global positioning system (GPS) and mobile phone technology. Formerly known as IQ Biometrix, the company acquired privately held Wherify Wireless and its line of wireless GPS tracking products in mid-2005; the company then adopted the Wherify name.
