Description Steer is a marketing and communications platform built to help auto repair shops grow. With tools for automated reminders, earning more 5-star reviews, running promotional campaigns, and tracking performance, we make it easier for shops to stay connected with customers and build long-term loyalty. When AutoOps, the industry’s leading online scheduler, joined Steer in 2024, we brought scheduling and customer communication together in one powerful platform.
We didn’t start here, though. Steer began as a simple directory (Mechanic Advisor), helping drivers find a trusted mechanic. But we saw a bigger opportunity—not just to help shops get found, but to help them grow. Over time, we built a full-scale CRM and communications platform designed specifically for auto repair shops, giving them the tools to create a better customer experience and keep drivers coming back.
Now, with AutoOps in the mix, we’re taking things even further. As one team, we’re focused on helping shops simplify operations, book more appointments, connect with customers, and deliver exceptional service. But we’re just getting started.
If you’re looking for a place where you can grow, solve real problems, and make an impact, you’ll fit right in. Steer is a team of people who care about what they do, collaborate openly, and move fast. We offer flexibility, great benefits, and an environment where your ideas matter. You don’t have to check every box on a job description to belong here—if you’re passionate about what you do, we want to hear from you.
