WEC Group is one of the largest engineering and fabrication companies in the UK. The group has been providing fabrication, laser cutting, precision machining, waterjet cutting, powder coating, and CCTV mounting solutions for over 40 years.
As one of the UK's fastest growing and most successful engineering companies, we pride ourselves on creating many new job opportunities each year for local individuals. Our staff count has increased from 300 to 900 in just over 10 years and we now have 15 specialist companies based in Lancashire, Merseyside, Yorkshire and the West Midlands.
As a forward-looking business, we are committed to building the next generation of engineers and we also create 40-50 new apprenticeship positions each year. In 2020, WEC Group was extremely proud to have been awarded the Large Employer of the Year title at the National Apprenticeship Awards.
WEC Group remained open throughout the various recent lockdowns, providing essential manufacturing services in the national effort to build more ventilators for the NHS as well as key medical equipment for the Nightingale Hospitals which were built across the country.
