Blue Cypress Consulting, LLC (Blue Cypress) is a woman-owned small business (WBE/DBE) headquartered in Decatur, Georgia, providing Community Planning, Public Outreach, GIS and Utility Management Services to public, non-profit, and private clients throughout the US. The company was formed in 2013 with a vision of improving the communities in which we live and work. Our planning services help our clients build community by developing or fulfilling a vision, creating or enhancing neighborhood plans, and supporting the execution of those plans. We help Utility Management clients optimize water, wastewater, and storm water operations in order to meet or exceed service level commitments to rate payers and regulators.
Our team of engineers, planners, GIS professionals, and consultants provide a range of services to meet the needs of each client and project. Our Community Planning team, led by Caroline Evans, AICP, our Founding Principal, has more than 20 years of experience working with cities, counties, regional planning commissions, and transit authorities and provides services including: community planning, public and stakeholder outreach and engagement, GIS analysis, database design and development, and more.
Our Utility Management team, led by John Evans, PE, has a proven history of providing quality management consulting services to water, stormwater and wastewater utilities throughout the United States, including: strategic planning; asset management including levels of service analysis; operational optimization to increase quality, efficiency and effectiveness; rate optimization; information management including analytics and business intelligence, software selection and implementation; etc.
