GuideTech, LLC (formerly Guide Technology) makes time interval analyzer (TIA) instruments used to test semiconductor chips as they are being produced. Customers include Advanced Semiconductor Engineering, ChipMOS, Siliconware Precision Industries, STATS ChipPAC, Unisem, and VIKO Test Lab. The company works cooperatively with the leading vendors of automated test equipment for semiconductors, including Advantest, Credence Systems, LTX, and Teradyne. GuideTech was founded in 1988. In 2008 Guide Technology was acquired by GuideTech Inc., a company headed by Ron Sigura, one of the original founders of Guide Technology. Its name was subsequently changed to GuideTech LLC.
