For Hampden Papers, wrapping a gift is more than covering it in order to surprise a recipient. The company has made the act an expression of creativity and caring for more than 100 years. Hampden manufactures converted coated papers and paperboard, and laminated film and foil. Its products are sold in 80-plus markets, used in gift wrap to greeting cards, liquor bags, as well as book covers and cosmetic packaging. Much of the line is fine lithographic paper, and glazed and embossed papers. Hampden's sole plant is equipped with some 30 machines for embossing, foil and film laminating, four-color gravure printing and air knife coating, sheeting, slitting, and trimming. Co-founders, the Fowler family owns Hampden.
