Baltimore Aircoil (BAC) makes, sells, and installs evaporative cooling and heat transfer equipment, with manufacturing and distribution facilities throughout North America and around the globe. Its products include cooling towers, condensers, thermal storage systems, remote sump tanks, and related parts and controls. BAC serves customers in the HVAC, refrigeration, and chemical and petroleum processing markets, as well as light industrial manufacturers, electric power generators, metal producers, and cooling plant operators. BAC was founded by John Engalitcheff Jr. in 1938 and today is owned by Amsted Industries.
