Shuttleworth's conveyor systems shuttle materials, proving their worth. The company is a leading designer/manufacturer of custom material handling machinery. Its conveyor systems are used in food processing, healthcare, light manufacturing, and other industries. It pioneered the Slip-Torque roller-based conveyor system with individually powered roller shafts covered by segmented, loose-fit rollers that slip when products accumulate, thus reducing product damage. Other equipment includes low profile, easy clean, and heavy duty conveyor systems. It also makes diverters, lift gates, vertical conveyors, and custom applications. Pro Mach acquired Shuttleworth in 2011 and added it to its End of Line business unit.
