Description Lochinvar knows that being in hot water doesn't always mean trouble. The company makes commercial and residential hot water generators, pool heaters, water heaters, storage tanks, boilers, and related parts and accessories. It also offers high-efficiency products. Lochinvar distributes its products throughout the US and Canada, and exports to Europe, Australia, the Pacific Rim, and the Middle East. Walter Vallett Sr. founded the predecessor to Lochinvar in 1919. The company was owned by his descendants, including president (and Walter's grandson) Bill Vallett, Jr., until 2011 when A. O. Smith bought Lochinvar for nearly $420 million.
