One year and 8 borrowed laptops ago, iSTEM launched its very first class, Custom 3D Printed Fidget Spinners at Prune Hill Elementary. The success of the course motivated us to formalize the business, and in July 2019, the company was officially founded.
Since then, our program has reached two school districts, 6 schools, and nearly 100 students. We have provided courses in 3D printing, 3D modeling, robotics, Minecraft modding, graphic and web design. With the success and community support of our program, we have been able to invest in a number of new courses that will be rolling out in the next few months, including classes in terraforming, web development, and civil engineering.
