First Light Fusion's mission is to solve the problem of fusion power with the simplest machine possible. The core process is simpler, and our technology fits with existing power plant engineering. Solving physics is not enough, the world needs a technology that can scale.
Established in 2011, First Light Fusion spun out from the University of Oxford and specialises in energy generation research by inertial confinement fusion with the simplest machine possible.
We aim to raise awareness and educate one another on personal bias, gender minority experiences, and allyship. Through various activities, we work to create an equal future for our employees and incite positive change in our local community.
