Description Plainly speaking, the Plains Cotton Cooperative Association (PCCA) is one of the nation's largest cotton handlers. The farmer-owned marketing cooperative has members in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Texas. PCCA markets cotton through TELCOT, its computerized trading system that continually updates cotton prices, buyer data, and other information. PCCA's American Cotton Grower's (ACG) division produced denim fabric; its DENIMATRIX division (located in Guatemala) manufactures jeans. The co-op has cotton warehouses in Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas, as well as denim mills in Texas. The co-op was formed in 1953 to enable cotton farmers to obtain the most competitive prices for their cotton.
