Rather than brick and mortar, Cordy Oilfield Services is building its construction business with acquisitions. The company owns and manages about a dozen operating subsidiaries in Alberta and British Columbia that provide heavy construction, pipeline, drilling manufacturing, and environmental services. These segments serve the oil and gas, mining, private real estate development, and public infrastructure markets. Heavy construction services include road maintenance, gravel and concrete supply, dredging, heavy hauling, and bridge installation. The majority of Cordy's customers are located in western Canada. In 2011 the company bought hydro-vac and fluid related services company RB2 Energy Services.
