You shouldn't have a problem receiving a signal if you're close enough to one of TowerCo's cell phone towers. One of the largest independent tower companies in the US, TowerCo owns and leases communication towers in 47 states and Puerto Rico. The bulk of its more than 3,000 towers are located in California (about a third), as well as Michigan, Arizona, Illinois, and Texas. It also builds towers on a contractual basis for telecommunications customers. TowerCo primarily serves wireless service providers; it counts Sprint-Nextel as among its customers. Founded in 2004 by CEO Richard Byrne and Scot Lloyd, the company is owned by Vulcan Capital, Altpoint Capital, and other institutional and private investors.
