Germany-based Linde acquired Lansing in 1989, forming Lansing Linde. The company was renamed Linde Material Handling (UK) in 2003. Customers include British Airways and Eurostar Group. Linde Material Handling (UK) was a part of Linde's global forklift operations called KION Group. In 2006 Linde sold KION Group to KKR and Goldman Sachs Capital Partners for about E4 billion.
