Mission To conserve and restore our natural resources including soil, water, air, woods and wildlife for their sustainable use and enjoyment.
Description Since 1922, the Izaak Walton League has been one of the most effective advocates for conservation and environmental policy in the U.S. The League protects outdoor America in communities across the country through community science, stream monitoring and local conservation, while working at the national level to win critical conservation battles. We are the only organization that trains, equips and coordinates volunteer water quality monitors on a national scale through programs like Nitrate Watch, Save Our Streams and Salt Watch.
