Description Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals (MRPL) produces a variety of oil and petrochemical products. A subsidiary of Oil & Natural Gas Corporation, MRPL processes nearly 10 million metric tons of oil annually at its Mangalore city refinery. It is the country's only refinery to boast two facilities producing premium diesel and high-octane unleaded petrol. Its products include petrochemical and fertilizer-grade naphtha, automobile gasoline, liquefied petroleum gas, and aviation turbine fuel. Other operations include an ashphallt production plant and a power plant.
