Qiao Xing Mobile Communication brings the ring to Chinese callers on the move. The company, through its primary operating subsidiary CEC Telecom (CECT), manufactures a full range of mobile phone handsets. Qiao Xing offers about 50 different models and sells about 2 million phones a year under the CECT brand and its luxury line, VEVA. Its products, which are based around the GSM wireless standard, are sold to local and national distributors throughout China. The company operates its own manufacturing facilities but also utilizes outsourced services. Qiao Xing Universal Resources owns more than 60% of the company; its largest individual shareholders are brothers Zhi Yang Wu (Chairman) and Rui Lin Wu (Vice Chairman.)
