Murakami makes high-tech rearview mirrors for the auto industry that offer drivers increased visibility (through glare reduction filters, rain resistance coatings, and panel heating technologies) and convenient automatic adjustment. More than 85% of its revenues come from selling its manufactured rearview mirrors to major auto companies, including Honda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Toyota, and Fuji Heavy Industries (Subaru). Overall, it commands about 40% of Japan's market share of rearview mirrors mounted on cars, RVs, and commercial vehicles.
