We often get asked, why is the company called Filta? We’re glad you asked!
When we started in 2016, we saw the opportunity to connect passionate and driven digital people from the Philippines to digital organisations in Australia – one could say we connected FILipinos To Australian companies and jobs! Thus, the name Filta was born.
Originally, we were called FiltaGlobal (all one word) as we had visions of grandeur. However, over the years many of our clients and their employees naturally dropped the ‘Global’ and would just call us Filta. (even though, ironically, we then became global by expanding into Colombia and started servicing organizations from North America, Europe and wider APAC).
Why are clients using Filta?
We know the effort needed to hire people in different countries. From knowing local laws, learning local customs, and understanding local business practices, it can be very complex – especially when people have businesses and teams to run.
