Parafin was founded in 2020 as a platform for connecting buyers and sellers for growth capital financing. We also provide tools for retaining sellers, tracking revenue streams, APIs for underwriting, financial & regulatory risks, and payment processing for users.
But what really defines us is our mission and our culture. Our mission is to democratize access to growth capital. At Parafin, we aim to enable and empower small businesses to reach their greatest potential, and to create a world in which their ability to acquire funding isn’t limited to a credit check or an arbitrary set of rules - which historically has limited numerous people from chasing their dream. We don’t believe in stifling innovation. We are a team of dreamers, too - visionaries with innovative fresh ideas, collaborating and executing on a shared vision - and we can map out a new world together. We are located in San Francisco, and we are backed by prominent venture capitalists and the founders of Robinhood, DoorDash, Carta, Chime, and Plaid.
