ZiiLABS wants 3-D graphics to be something you can take with you. The company's three-dimensional graphics accelerator products are intended largely for the portable electronics market. It supplies graphics chips (sold under the ZMS name) and flexible intellectual property cores for embedded electronics in laptop computers, cell phones, and other devices. ZiiLABS media processor (DMS) is used in such products as automotive infotainment systems, navigation systems, portable media players, and videoconferencing equipment. It also provides related software under the Plaszma brand. Customers have included the BBC, Jaguar, and Trek Bicycle. The company is a subsidiary of computer board maker Creative Technology.
