Mission To work in partnership with our customers to help them achieve their quality, cost, and time to-market goals. We do this by providing a full suite of in-house metal manufacturing and value-added services.

Your Supply Chain Simplified
Description Momentum Manufacturing Group is a leading manufacturing partner to OEMs and product manufacturers across a variety of markets. With a skilled workforce of over 800, 11 manufacturing facilities across the Northeast, 750,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space, and a full suite of in-house metal manufacturing and value-added capabilities, we are an integral and trusted supply chain partner to many.

The company was founded in 1982 in St. Johnsbury, VT, as NSA Industries. Founder Neal S. Austin focused firmly on people, putting trust in his associates and building lasting relationships with customers. That focus enabled the company to quickly established itself as a premier New England metal fabrication and assembly services provider. NSA enjoyed moderate growth adding an in-house powder coating line in 1997 and second facility for machining in 1998.

Following Austin's retirement in 2007, a new management team sets an aggressive growth strategy for the company to offer more services, capabilities, and capacity to manufacturers. Starting in 2014, the company begins a series of acquisitions in NH and MA to rapidly expand its metal machining and fabrication business, as well as add lead fabrication, aluminum extrusion manufacturing, and custom cable services.

Improving quality, efficiency, and time-to-market for customers meant investing in new equipment and technology – something many competitors were unable or unwilling to do. From 2010 to 2020, $50 million was invested in new equipment putting the company on a clear path of growth, stability, and diversification in both its capabilities and industries served.
To reflect its greater suite of capabilities and ability to support high growth industries, the corporate name was changed from NSA Industries to Momentum Manufacturing Group in 2020.

Since 2020, $15 million has been invested to strengthen automation and aluminum extrusion capabilities, and $20 million is planned to be invested in 2022 to further support operations.

Today, Momentum Manufacturing Group is the largest metal manufacturing company in the Northeast and ranked 6 in the U.S. with over $169 million in revenue in 2021.
