We are member-owned, member-operated, and not-for-profit, offering similar products and services to conventional financial institutions, but with our members’ best interests in mind. Any revenue generated after expenses and reserves are met is given back to the members in the form of better rates and more services, ultimately saving our members money. In 2023, we gave back more than $1 million to members through bonus dividends and loan rebates. Scott Credit Union is also deeply involved in supporting the communities we serve. Through the Scott Community Foundation, we give back to our local communities through our With You grant program, which awarded $100,000 to 34 schools in 2023.
