Founded to provide telegraph service to Canada’s first transcontinental railroad, the company quickly grew to provide services to destination points spanning 3,100 miles coast-to-coast. No company lasts that long without knowing a thing or two about innovation.
In 2006, Allstream was the first in Canada to offer a SIP Trunking solution. In 2013, it announced the country’s first hosted collaboration solution, followed in 2015 with the first cross-border HCS.
