Description Harvey Electronics gives serious audiophiles their stereo fix, but has been struggling to fix itself. The company, which offers esoteric (read: expensive) audio and video products to customers in the New York metropolitan area, has been reorganizing after filing for bankruptcy protection. The company sells, repairs, and installs home theater and multi-room audio systems -- including such big-ticket items as plasma flat-screen TVs -- made by electronics giants such as Sony and Samsung and specialty manufacturers such as Boston Acoustics and Marantz. Installations can cost its clients more than $100,000. The company shut its stand-alone stores while it attempts to move to custom-install only operations.
