Mission Our mission is to create exceptional learning experiences for students systemically distanced from opportunity. We do this in partnership with families and communities.
Description UP Education Network’s (UP) is a school success organization with a mission to create exceptional learning experiences for students who are systemically excluded from opportunity. We do this in partnership with families and communities.

UP currently serves over 1,300 students in grades preK-8. Our schools, located in Dorchester, are part of Boston Public Schools but operate with a charter-like autonomy. This structure allows us the flexibility to implement innovative practices while providing the resources and support needed to create exceptional learning experiences for our students.

UP intentionally serves communities with higher needs than other Boston Public Schools, including both traditional and charter schools. In our schools, 79% of students live in Dorchester, and 97% identify as Black or Latinx. Over a third of our students are multilingual, 92% are considered high needs, and 87% come from low-income backgrounds. We strive to ensure students have the access and opportunities they need to thrive and pursue lives of choice.
