Wolford makes high-end hosiery, bodysuits, lingerie, and swimsuits targeted to a younger market. Its men's collection includes tights, knee-highs, and socks. A series of designer biggies, including Vivienne Westwood, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Karl Lagerfeld, have collaborated with Wolford on limited lines of luxury legwear. Wolford partnered with Zac Posen in 2007 for a 10-design collection. Formed in 1949 Wolford now sells its products worldwide through some 230 boutiques and through upscale department stores.
