Fruits, not movies, are the creative output of this particular group of Pacific Coast Producers. The cooperative uses the apricots, grapes, peaches, pears, and tomatoes of its approximately 165 California-based grower/members to supply the retail and foodservice industries with private-label canned fruit, sauces, and juices. Its customers have included retailers Albertson's, Aldi, Kroger, Safeway, SUPERVALU, Whole Foods, and Wal-Mart, as well as the US Department of Agriculture. The company operates three production sites and one distribution center in California. Pacific Coast Producers was founded in 1971.
