In 1998, William “Bill” Keith a professional surveyor and mapper retired. Bill had spent his professional career in Broward County where he was a founding member of two engineering and surveying firms. As it turned out, Bill’s idea of retirement was to establish Keith and Associates (KEITH). He envisioned KEITH as a “boutique” firm offering civil engineering and surveying services, thru a specialized, personal approach, getting to know each client individually. Today, KEITH is led by Dodie Keith-Lazowick, Bill’s daughter and a professional surveyor and mapper herself. Through the years, the firm has grown to provide additional services with more than 170 employees in 5 offices state-wide. One might say KEITH has outgrown the “boutique” label, but as far as our approach to our clients, not a lot has changed. KEITH continues to embrace the opportunity to work closely with clients, striving to establish successful relationships, while offering unparalleled expertise in civil engineering, surveying, planning, landscape architecture, SUE and construction management. We have kept abreast of industry developments in LEED and BIM and have even developed an innovative approach to incorporating 3D laser scanning with BIM Civil 3D. Our story continues to unfold in unique and exciting ways and we look forward to working with you on yours, as well as our, next chapter.
