Management promotes from favoritism, starting from the top (CEO), down to the supervisors (“friends of friends, or family”). People don’t earn positions based on experience, but who they know in management. Toxic work environment at its finest, managers that do not have “people skills” but are put in charge. Complaints are swept under the rug, even when shared directly with the CEO. There is little, if any diversity; very sad for minorities to feel heard or considered. Even if you have good work ethics, there is very little chance or opportunities to be promoted; unless you are a part of the “elite group” or a sycophant. Getting a raise, it’s like pulling teeth.
