I have been working at ASEA full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great benefits, genuine leadership with the right intensions. Leaders that are willing to do the work needed to advance. Everyone is so nice and willing to help

    Cons

Communication. There needs to be a single source can't always rely on department leaders to communicate the same info. Company employee parties are nice. Let's do team building or bring in some professional educators to teach

    Advice to Management

Departments need to work harder on being a team and always doing your their things

I have been working at ASEA full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The People, the benefits, the willingness of the leadership to listen.

    Cons

Not always up to date on technology. Laptops provided are older, most systems used are old

    Advice to Management

Invest in technology and new equipment.

I worked at ASEA full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I was a manager for Asea. The company as a whole was good and has great potential

    Cons

The production facility and the leaders there only cared about themselves and there own advancements. They would make employees go to their homes and clean and have maintenance go fix things at their homes using company time and company credit cards. The production facility leadership also would not inform employees of anything they did wrong and would just fire them with no feedback. I started looking for other jobs and somehow they found out and fired me before I could put my two weeks in. They never keep promises they make. And they made a lot of promises

    Advice to Management

Get rid of production facility leadership. They are a cancer that brings morale to a low point

I have been working at ASEA full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I can't say enough good about this company. ASEA is truly an incredible place to work. I get to work with awesome people and upper management is top notch. Chuck the CEO is one of the most likable people I know. This company is the real deal they live their mission, vision, and values. I hope to work for ASEA for years to come.

    Cons

There is a tremendous amount of work to go around. I wouldn't recommend working here unless you are a hard worker.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!

    Pros

    Fun coworkers and company meetings.

    Cons

"Cynical, micromanaging supervisors. Do not reward hard work, but rather experience and smooth talk. Do not demand and reward based on quality and quantity of work, but rather who the uneducated supervisors personally like."

Couldn't agree with this more. Managers are unprofessional and aren't well-suited for their positions.

    Advice to Management

Hire supervisors and managers who actual know how to manage a team and uplift them.

I have been working at ASEA (Less than a year)

    Pros

One of the best companies I've worked for. Very focused on developing and appreciating employees and also transparent about company initiatives and goals. Performance review process is thorough; I know exactly what is expected of me. I also know that I happen to report to a great boss who empowers people, so that makes a difference. Great corporate culture.

    Cons

Nothing out of the ordinary. There are always things any company is trying to iron out, but I don't see things that are any different from what other companies face.

    Advice to Management

    Keep going!

    Cons

Love the product but its expensive

    I worked at ASEA full-time

    Pros

People were laid back for the most part. They had good break rooms. Beautiful facility. Had group meetings with the whole company which was good to know what was going on.

    Cons

They hired unqualified people to lead departments. Many had never managed employees before. They like to hire from within (which isn't always a bad thing) but qualifications are lacking.

    Advice to Management

Hire experienced people to manage departments. Those with both managerial and department relevant experience.

    Pros

Their 401k is good. They try really hard to look good but on the inside, it's a little different.

    Cons

Half the people spend most of their work week playing clash of clans. Managers have favorites. The product is missing a lot of important documentation. Promotions are based on the amount of nagging and who they know, not necessarily on the quality of worker.

    Advice to Management

Find qualified people who are good leaders. Reward hard working employees. Watch employees for signs of problems in the system, not for lack of employee effort.
