      Pros

      Enjoyed majority of my immediate team members, not "Upper Management" though.

      Cons

      Claims to be a "family first company", yet expects salaried employees to work 24 hours a day, work during PTO and of course during Sick Days! No clear direction from Upper Management. Owner has too many grand ideas and ultimately fails at achieving any of them. Too many Directors and Vice Presidents for a small company getting paid 90% of the money while the rest of us got 10% to split.

      Company is flashy. They tend to go for the biggest and brightest jobs but don't have the systems down right to execute. Lots of internal turn over (even prior to Covid). Lots of smoke and mirrors and words of personal growth with little follow through or actual opportunities for growth. Lots of favoritism and separation between Canadian and US divisions.

      The only pro I got from this place was that I can pretty handle anything in a VERY MESSED UP AND MIS MANAGED PLACE!

      Cons

      I work for Astound for quite sometime it took all the time I had away from my family there is no work life balance. Upper management has no idea what they are doing everything is last minute. The owners are crazy and don’t have any idea how to run a business! I put my entire life on hold and gave everything I had to that place to get talked down to and get threaten for my job if I didn’t just do what I was told and not what was right. If they don’t like how you look you are gone! The place is a mad house. Good luck to anyone that works for these crazy people!
