    Pros

    The people there were great and I made a lot of lifetime friends; the atmosphere was informal; it was possible to define your own role based on your strengths and areas of interest

    Cons

    Early management made poor decisions; there was not a lot of room for professional advancement

    Advice to Management

    N/A - company is no longer in business. It was acquired by Applied Materials.

    Pros

    I enjoyed my work tremendously at Advent Solar as I got to work with some of people who have committed their life to making solar successful. I became a convert to renewable energy after joining this team,

    Cons

    As with any start up, we had several ups and downs. This can be a challenge coming form a large company.

    Advice to Management

    We could have spent more time on back up plans.
