On the brink of failure

Pros

They are a small consultancy, so gives you the opportunity to learn the ropes if you are a newbie into the market. Consultants are very good at what they do.

Cons

Horrendous leadership. The President of the company is a joke, and no one in the organization respects him, yet lack the courage to say anything. Strategy changes on a whim, and they are basically just tool jockeys who have invested the majority of their resources in one basket (Qlik). All the superstars in the organization have realized this and are beginning to leave. It's just a matter of time before the organization crumbles under the weight of it's own disastrous leadership.

Pros

The Work/Life balance is good but comes at a cost.

Cons

Aimless leadership and company direction. Shortsighted penny-pinching of employees is a religion, instead of actually growing a business and expanding markets. Hopefully more people speak up about the direction of the company (or lack thereof). I honestly don't understand how the President of the company is in the position he is in. Does anyone?

Pros

There are None that come to mind.

Cons

The president of the company is a narcissist with ZERO leadership qualities whose presence is best characterized as cringe worthy and creepy. His vision is blurred and creates a cringe atmosphere other than getting in the way and preventing growth and success. He surrounds himself with a handful of loyal, overly paid and rarely held accountable “Executive Team” who dare not challenge his unthinkable “strategies” for fear of his rebuke. Corporate strategy is non-existent and fluid. It’s not uncommon for his unaccountable inner ring to snicker and sneer about his buffoonery behind his back. Rather than challenge his ideas or decision, they are agreeable with every unthinkable idea. Consequently, a culture back stabbing, lying and assigning blame to everyone outside of his “inner ring” is rampant resulting in a demoralizing office atmosphere. New consultant recruits, if you are looking for a baptism by fire with little to no support or documentation to support your projects you have landed in your dream job. Certification on certain technologies you will be forced to implement is a luxury Analytics8 cannot afford. Thus, learning on the job is mandatory. Be prepared for New Customers, if you are looking to be the training ground for fresh, raw, college graduates in their first job with no experienced consultants available for your project, than this is the partner for you. Your project will most likely serve as the launch site for their professional journey as well as the grace period to determine the fate of your project team’s survival. Casual observers don’t be fooled by the positive ratings or remarks. It’s just A8 HR trying to counter every bad review by authoring a phony positive review.
